"I had a real good time at Alabama, this weekend. I got a chance to meet with all the coaches. They showed me a real good time. I got a chance to hang out with the players, which was really fun. That was what I was looking forward to the most. My host, both nights, was Matt Miller," said Tommy Trott.
Trott did spend time with two of Alabama's quarterbacks.
"On the first night, we ended up hanging out with Brodie, for most of the
night. He's cool. Also, I hung out with John Parker Wilson. He's a pretty cool
guy too and may be the future quarterback at Alabama. It was nice to meet
With an in-state battle for Trott's signature, the official visit was a step in
the right direction for the Tide.
"I would say this visit definitely helped Alabama. I definitely enjoyed my
visit. The coaches were all real nice. This may even things up a lot."
The recruiting process for the star tight end has been hectic.
"This stuff is really becoming crazy. It's amazing how each coach can walk
into your living room, paint a picture of their school, and make it look like
the best place on the planet. This trip really reassured me that I needed to
take my time in making this decision."
