Tide Hoops Loses Another

The Alabama basketball team lost its third player of the fall this week with walk-on guard LaKory Daniels' departure from the team.

LaKory Daniels, the 6-1, 180-pounder from Troy's Charles Henderson High School scored three points in four games of action this fall, totaling 10 minutes of playing time on the season.

Much like Akini Adkins earlier in the week, Daniels departure comes in an apparent effort to seek more playing time at a different school. Daniels is in good academic standing.

Freshman Glenn Miles departed the team before the Tide's first game, and Head Coach Mark Gottfried announced that forward Adkins was seeking transfer in order to gain more playing time earlier in the week.

There was no announcement planned on Daniels' departure before the Tide's Saturday evening home game against Tennessee State.

Alabama is left with 12 players on its roster for Saturday night's game, and junior transfer Jean Felix was listed as "doubtful" to play due to back pain.
