If Saban Leaves, Keys to Tide

Chris Keys, 6-2, 207, of North Jackson High School, is playing the waiting game to see what LSU coach, Nick Saban plans to do. Keys is currently committed to LSU, but that could change in the next few days.

"If Coach Saban goes to Miami. I am going to Bama. By the way things look from watching TV., he is going to Miami. I will commit to Alabama as soon as Coach Saban announces his decision. If Coach Saban doesn't leave, I would have to think about it for a while," said Chris Keys.

Alabama has made a strong push for the four star safety since he moved to Alabama. Keys likes several things about the Tide.

"Alabama is just a great place. The fans are amazing and the coaches are all really nice. Everything is just great. The new facilities are very nice."

When asked about the position the Tide coaches are discussing, Keys replied, "The Alabama coaches are recruiting me as a safety. That is all they have ever really talked to me about playing."

Keys is scheduled to fly out of the Huntsville airport Friday morning to fly home to Louisiana for the Christmas holidays. Keys could be an Alabama commit when he returns.
