Florida TE Discusses Visit

Colin Peek, tight end from Bolles High School in Jacksonville Florida, was impressed with his official visit to Alabama.

"The visit went real well. I really enjoyed it. The facilities were phenomenal. I have never seen anything like it at any other school. The location and the environment were just awesome," Peek said.

Current Alabama wide receiver Will Oakley, from Florida, was Peek's host for the weekend.

"Will Oakley was my player host. He and all of his friends were great. I really enjoyed hanging out with them," Peek said.

The entire coaching staff impressed Colin Peek.

"I was able to sit down and talk with the S&C (Strength and Conditioning) coach. I learned a lot about the weight program. I talked to (tight ends) Coach (Dave) Ungerer. He told me about the need for tight ends, and I can come in and play early. I sat down with Coach Shula. He is a great coach. The entire coaching staff is just excellent. (Defensive tackles) Coach (Buddy) Wyatt is a great guy," said Peek.

Peek is hesitant to name a leader.

"Alabama is the only school I have been to (official visit)," Peek said. "I will have to look at Duke and Georgia Tech the same way as I did Alabama. Right now, all the schools are even, but in the back of my mind, I'll know how good my visit went at Alabama, and all the friends I made there. That will help me with my commitment."

"I go to Georgia Tech next weekend, then Duke," he said. "Depending on how I feel on those visits, I might take a visit to Oklahoma."
