"I had a great time. The social time was the best part of the visit. We went to a few parties, and they were a lot of fun. The southern hospitality was a lot nicer than I thought it would be," Doug Worthington said.
"Chris Harris was my player host. He is a class act. He was a lot of fun to be around. He is a cool guy."
The Alabama coaching staff made a very good impression.
"Coach Shula is real nice. He is down to earth and honest. All the coaches embraced me. They know the situation I'm in. I saw the depth chart, and I was impressed by it."
"The first time I met Coach Randolph, we clicked really quick. He's a player's coach, and real down to earth. I've never met a man like him, and doubt I ever will. It would be great to be coached by him," Worthington added.
When asked if Alabama had a shot, Worthington replied, "Most definitely. If something happens that Ohio State is not allowed to play in bowl games, or any type probation, I'll have to do what is best for me. It's a business in college. I'm going to treat it like a business. I'm going to sit down and lay out the situation. I'll know where I'm going February 2nd."
