Admission is $5 per person and includes a barbecue plate lunch and access to all of the events inside the facility. Free schedule posters and schedule cards will be available along with GrandSlammers bumper stickers and door prizes. A silent auction will also be held with all proceeds benefitting the Alabama GrandSlammers and their support projects for the Crimson Tide baseball team.
Head Coach Jim Wells will address the group and give a scouting report of the 2002 Alabama baseball team. Alabama coaches and players will be available for autographs as well. Following the event, the Crimson Tide will hold an open scrimmage at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.

The 2002 season will also feature the return of Saturday pregame cookouts for all members, with an added bonus this season. Instead of the regular Monday night meetings, the Grand Slammers will now meet on Saturday beyond the right field fence prior to three home games. Coach Wells has also agreed to speak to the group at each of these meetings. The cookout and meeting schedule is as follows:
