1st Offer for Tennessee Wide Receiver

Travis Sikes, from Christ Presbyterian in Nashville, emerged as a top wide out in Tennessee. Sikes has received his first offer.

"Alabama offered me today. They are the only school that has offered me. I was very excited. Alabama has great tradition, great coaches, and I love the campus," said Travis Sikes.

After receiving his first offer, with less than two weeks before national signing day, Sikes did not make a commitment.

"I still want to take one more visit. Louisville and Georgia have been talking to me a lot. I will probably go on a visit, next weekend, to Georgia. Alabama is my leader. I will make my decision around signing day."

The talented wide receiver had a great time in Tuscaloosa.

"It went really good. Coach Shula and Coach Ball made the trip a blast. The players made me feel like I was already a part of the team. Will Oakley was my player host. He was awesome. He was a lot like me. We got along great," said Sikes.

Sikes enjoyed spending time with Alabama Head Coach, Mike Shula.

"Coach Shula is sort of like a player because he is so young. He is real nice and straight forward."

Before making a final decision, Sikes is looking at a few key aspects.

"I want to find the place where I feel the most comfortable, and find the team where I will benefit the most," said Sikes.
