All 32 expected signees plus one mild surprise make up the class of 33 who signed Wednesday. The surprise was wide receiver Desmond Jennings of Pinson Valley. Many expect him to sign pro baseball or start college at the junior college level. The other 32 prospects who signed with Alabama are:

Also counting in the class of 2005 will be grayshirts John Parker Wilson and Drew Davis, as well as mid-year transfer Lionel Mitchell. Mitchell was able to join the Tide for bowl practice because he was qualified academically and went to Hargrave after high school to raise his recruiting stock.
