It was two weeks into last spring when Charlie Peprah made an ‘experimental' move from cornerback to safety. The experiment was a good one, and Peprah started there all last season.

Simeon Castille twisted his ankle just before the beginning of spring practice, but only missed a day of work. He is wearing tape around his right ankle. Castille scored a touchdown in his first ever college football game.

Walk-on OL David Brown works with his linemates. Brown has been working some with the second team. Alabama has only nine scholarship OL on the squad in the spring since the departure of Von Ewing. UA Photo.

Grayshirt freshman John Parker Wilson in mid-throw. Wilson is the only 100 per cent healthy scholarship QB on the squad, and is getting much of the work in 11-on-11 situations. Back-up junior Marc Guillon was able to work into team drills on Saturday. UA Photo.

Head Coach Mike Shula watches intently. Shula and staff hosted approximately 485 high school coaches from the region Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
