Drum's times in the 40-yard dash and shuttle runs were among the best at the combine at his position, and his 29-inch vertical and 104-inch broad jump were tops among offensive lineman (Click here for the entire combine results).
"I loved it. I think I did pretty good, and I was happy with most of my numbers for the day. I think I really helped myself with my performance at the combine," Robert Drum said.
Prior to the Scout.com combine, he received his third scholarship offer.
"I received an offer from Duke before the combine," he said. "I am planning to go up there the weekend after I get out of school. Obviously, Duke is a big academic school, and they have a great basketball program. They are really trying to move towards a good football program. They have brought in some good recruits."
When asked his thoughts about these scholarship offers, Drum replied, "Georgia Tech is a great academic school. You can do a lot with a degree from Georgia Tech, and they have a great football program. Louisville definitely has a strong football program. I am planning to go up there sometime this summer. I feel like Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, and LSU are very close to offering me. They are all recruiting me very hard right now."
Several college coaches have visited Spain Park to see Drum and quarterback Neil Caudle during spring evaluation.
"We had coaches from South Carolina, West Virginia, and Oregon last week. There were a few other coaches here as well. Coach Fulmer from Tennessee has visited. I have received phone calls from Ole Miss, West Virginia, and Georgia Tech," Drum said.
Drum knows he will attend several summer camps, and hopes to have a list of favorites before the summer ends. He said, "The only camp I know for sure I will attend is Alabama. I am not sure about the rest, but I know I will go to a bunch. I don't have a top five or anything right now. Hopefully, by the middle of the summer, I will have a few favorites."
