Alabama's home football game with Southern Miss (Sept. 10) and at South Carolina (Sept. 17) will be televised nationally, the University said in a release Monday.
The Tide's home game with Southern Miss will be televised by espn2 at 6:45 p.m. (CT), while Bama's first road game of the season, against South Carolina, will be televised by CBS at 2:30 p.m. (CT).
Two non-conference games, the Sept. 3 season opener and the October 29 homecoming contest, have not been assigned starting times yet.
Game times for other SEC games will usually be announced no sooner than 12 days in advance of the game, and networks can sometimes wait until six days in advance to pick a game, affecting the announcement of a game time.
The Alabama-South Carolina game will kick off a Southeastern Conference double-header on Sept. 17. Tennessee versus Florida in Gainesville will be shown by CBS at 7 p.m. (CT).
