Alexander To Visit

Earl Alexander, from Central High School in Phenix City, is one of the top athletes in the South. Scout.com's four-star recruit will attend this week's Southeastern Conference game of the week as Alabama hosts Florida.

"I will be in Tuscaloosa this weekend," said Earl Alexander. "I wanted to go last week to the Bama-Arkansas game, but I had to take the ACT."

Alexander said, "This game is really big. The Alabama-Florida game speaks for itself. I really hope Alabama can pull it off over Florida. They have been playing very well. Alabama is winning games, and they looked very good."

After a tough loss to Carver-Montgomery Friday night, Alexander made one phone call to a college coach.

"I talked to Coach [Paul] Randolph after my game," Alexander said. "I told him about my game and how I planned to come down there. Coach Randolph is a great guy."

"I am going back to Tuscaloosa for the Tennessee and LSU game. I will definitely go to the Alabama-Auburn game as well," Alexander added.

When asked of favorites Alexander responded, "It's still pretty much the same. My top three are Alabama, Georgia, and Auburn. Those three schools are equal right now."

"I still plan to wait," Alexander said of his decision. "As far as official visits go, I am not sure when I will set them up."

Through his first five games Alexander has completed 39-53 passes for 650 yards with six touchdowns and two interceptions. He has rushed for over 300 yards with four touchdowns as well.

Central will host Dothan Friday night.
