Recruiting Profile: Mizraim Farley

Yet another athlete from the outstanding program at Daphne is receiving recruiting attention. Recently, Alabama has cleaned up on linemen, signing Kenny King and Atlas Herrion from the state powerhouse. But Mizraim Farley plays linebacker.

Farley is 6-0 tall and weighs 200 pounds. His reported best time in the 40-yard dash is 4.50.

Last season Daphne went all the way to the 6A State Championship, and Farley was a steady performing linebacker along the way. He is very active on the field and has a knack for being involved in game-deciding plays.

During his junior season, Farley was credited with 66 Tackles (47 solo), eight sacks, and seven fumble recoveries.

Farley is strong for his size and he gets textbook leverage on many of his tackles. He has a 29-inch vertical jump.

So far, the Daphne native has camped at Mississippi State, Alabama and Auburn. He has a brother, Sam Farley, who plays football for West Alabama.

Farley bench presses 360 pounds and squats 480. He is an excellent student, carrying a 3.8 GPA. Farley has signed up to take the ACT in April.

It's early in the recruiting process, and Farley reports that he is interested in Alabama, Auburn, Memphis, North Carolina and West Virginia.
