He starts on offense at runningback and he netted 426 yards and 10 Tds for a predominantly passing school. He caught 14 passes out of the backfield for 322 yards and 6 Tds. That is an average of 23 yards per reception. He is a three year starter who has gained a reputation as being very sticky in man coverage. The leader of a team that went into the playoffs undefeated before bowing out in the quarterfinals. He is a Team Captain who also was recognized as an Honorable Mention All West Alabama selection. He completed 50 of 83 passes for 823 yards, 10 Tds, and 4 interceptions. He also had one rushing touchdown. He just turned 17 years of age and he is fully qualified. Allen Long is a 6-3, 225, 4.70 linebacker / fullback from Addison High School in Addison, Alabama. A four year stud for one of the best Class 2A teams in the state his senior year. He carried the Bulldogs on his back and still felt as though he was overlooked. He has started since his freshman year and has only been stopped by a torn ligament as a junior. Despite the torn MCL, he missed only one game. His freshman year he accounted for 475 yards on 90 carries with 6 Tds. He also had 45 tackles and 2 sacks. He played 12 games as a sophomore and racked up 109 tackles. He rushed for 1200 yards and 14 Tds over the same period. His junior year he suffered the injury in the eighth game but still managed 700 yards and 9 Tds. He was credited with 90 tackles as a junior. He came back with avengeance his senior year and showed a big determination to show no signs of the injury. He had 150 tackles, but on offense he race to 1908 yards and 25 Tds. Grant Nailen is a 5-11, 170, 4.50 cornerback from Briarwood Christian High School in Birmingham, Alabama. An All County defensive back who plays all out on every play. His motor is stuck in overdrive and it pays him dividends every game. He is a strong side cornerback who averaged 8 tackles per game as a senior ( 112 total ), plus he snagged 3 interceptions. He is a Team Captain and he was awarded the Special Teams MVP. On kickoffs, he flies down the field like a mad man and he usually arrives at the ball with an attitude. Cody Grammer is a 6-5, 245, 5.10 center from Tuscaloosa County High School in Northport, Alabama. A consistent and reliable center prospect who is very quick off the ball and shows an agressive mentality on his blocks. He graded around 80% blocking efficiency as a junior, but he increased that to 90% as a senior. His coach says he has the frame to carry 290 lbs and if he does gain that much muscle and body weight, then he will be hard to defeat. He is capable of calling blocking schemes on the line of scrimmage and he strives to finish every block. He is just 16 years of age and he has a 26" vertical jump. He has camped at Alabama. Sammie Autrey is a 6-0, 205, 4.50 strong safety from Wilcox Central High School in Camden, Alabama. A talented player who has gained the reputation of being a big hitter who is not afraid to tackle bigger runningbacks. Michael Terry is a 6-5, 320, 5.40 offensive tackle from Lexington High School in Lexington, Alabama. This big bodied offensive tackle improved drastically as a senior. He has good feet and he can pull and trap, but he could use more quickness off the ball. He made All County and All Area as a senior due to his improvement in technique. Will Catoe is a 6-2, 230, 4.70 fullback from Tuscaloosa County High School in Northport, Alabama. A highly intense performer who gets the most out of his ability in every game. He was so agressive on the offensive line as a senior that even though he was undersized, he still was a candidate for the 6A Lineman of the Year in Alabama. He is talented enough to play fullback, defensive end, or linebacker at the college level. He has a 32" vertical jump, bench presses 350, and squats 535. He has a 2.8 GPA and an 18 ACT. Trevis O'Neal is a 6-1, 215, 4.59 runningback / linebacker from Leeds High School in Birmingham, Alabama. A power back who hails from the same school that produced former Auburn basketball star, Charles Barkley ( Auburn, NBA ) and football player, Rodney Garner ( Auburn, Georgia recruiting coordinator ). He has blasted his way through holes and tacklers for the past three seasons. He burst on the scene as a sophomore when he accumulated 148 carries for 1076 yards. He backed that up as a junior with 1587 yards and 14 Tds despite the fact that Leeds only dressed 18 players. He also doubled as a linebacker his junior year and finished as the second leading tackler. His senior year, he pounded his way to 1942 yards on 206 carries ( 9.43 yards per carry ) with 20 Tds in just 12 games. Zachary Saxton is a 6-4, 310, 5.00 defensive tackle from Bakersfield Community College in Bakersfield, California. A mammoth interior lineman who played just 6 games as a sophomore and still managed 7 sacks. He was somewhat overlooked and while he may not be an immediate starter, he will likely play himself into the rotation. When he is in full shape, he is an intimidating presence. He is originally from Smith High School in Greensboro, North Carolina and he has three years remaining in which to play 2 years. He benhces 350 and squats 700. Dennis DuBois is a 5-10, 185, 4.45 athlete from Bakersfield Community College in Bakersfield, California. A superb athlete who moved to quarterback as a sophomore due to an injury to their starter. He led his team to a 10-2 record and he was the MVP of their Bowl Game. He passed for 8 Tds and he rushed for 3 Tds. He will probably play cornerback or an A-Back at Alabama. He is originally from Colonia, New Jersey and he has three years remaining to play two years. He has decided to attend Alabama as a Walk On and could play early and often.
Derek DuBois is a 5-8, 175, 4.50 athlete from Colonia High School in Colonia, New Jersey. An outstanding athlete who was deserving of an offer on signing day. He is very quick and shows excellent hands. He played quarterback on offense where he amassed 1282 total yards and 12 Tds. That is a breakdown of 741 yards passing and 3 Tds, plus 541 yards rushing and 9 Tds as a senior. He is exciting to watch with his elusiveness and escapability. He also doubles as a cornerback and he snagged 7 interceptions his senior year. He has a 34" vertical jump and he sould line up at cornerback, receiver, or kick returner. Irving Batiste is a 6-3, 220, 4.55 wide receiver from Bakersfield Community College in Bakersfield, California. A big target receiver who has some experience at the division one level. He signed with Oklahoma State out of high school but suffered a knee injury and decided to transfer to Bakersfield Community College. Aubrey Doroisme is a 6-3, 240, 4.80 defensive end from Bakersfield Community College in Bakersfield, California. A quick defensive end who made his reputation as a pass rusher, but he can still stop the outside run with regularity. He posted 60 tackles and 12 sacks in 10 games his sophomore year at Bakersfield. He benches 400 and has 3 years remaining to play 2 years. He has decided to Walk On at Alabama and join his present teammates.
Kyle Robinson is a 5-10, 175, 4.80 place kicker from Ranger Community College in Ranger, Texas. One of the best junior college kickers in the nation and a player that is batting 1000 for his sophomore year. He was 5 of 5 on his field goals with a long of 45 yards, and he was 14 for 14 on extra points. His kickoffs entered the end zone at a 60% ratio and that is a big weapon at the D-1 level. He is originally from Cleburne, Texas and he was being courted by Alabama, Arkansas, and Southern Miss. The Tide has won the battle for his Walk On services.
Rusty Hill is a 6-1, 215, 4.70 fullback / linebacker from Hokes Bluff High School in Hokes Bluff, Alabama. The top fullback and linebacker for the 3A State Champions. He is considered a weightroom terror who carries that mentality over to the football field. He goes all out on every play and he really lowers the boom on his hits whether he is making a tackle or leading a sweep from fullback. He is proven winner who has decided to Walk On at Alabama.
Ezzie Raulls is a 5-8, 196, 4.60 runningback from Central High School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The workhorse of the Central offensive attack and a runningback that gets the most out of his ability. He is extremely tough between the tackles and he does have a quick burst to the outside. He rushed for 870 yards and 14 Tds in 8 games as a junior. He averaged 5.9 yards per carry and boasts a 31" vertical jump. He missed some games as a junior with a high ankle sprain. His senior year was cut short with a knee injury. He also returns punts and kickoffs. He has camped at LSU ( 2 ), Auburn, Alabama, and Mississippi State. He benches 360 and power cleans 270. He has a 2.8 GPA and has scored 18 on the ACT. Irving Isbell is a 5-11, 245, 4.90 noseguard / fullback from Johnson High School in Huntsville, Alabama. The leading tackler in the City of Huntsville as a sophomore and junior. He was injured some as a senior or he may have made it three in a row. He isn't a flashy player, he is just agressive and pursues all over the field. He plays linebacker in high school, but he will move to either noseguard or blocking fullback in college. Either way, he will be a valuable member of the scout team and could see time on special teams. He will Walk On at Alabama.
Josh Woodard is a 6-1, 170, 5.00 place kicker from Decatur High School in Decatur, Alabama. The number one place kicker in North Alabama and a major weapon on his hgh schools teams offense. He has the range to clear the crossbars from over 50 yards and he has done it regularly. He started making his name visible as a junior when he made 8 of 12 field goal attempts ( 50 yards longest ) and 50 of 53 extra points. He also had 4 field goals in excess of 40 yards. He scored a total of 77 points his junior year. His senior year he was the offense and it showed at seasons end when he posted a 17 of 24 field goal attempt success rate. His longest was 55 yards and he had another game winner from 55 yards that hit the crossbar and bounced back. He missed just 4 extra points his senior year ( 2 were blocked at Mountain Brook in the playoffs ) but the opportunities were very few compared to his junior season. His freshman year he was credited with a 75 yard punt. The only drawback to him is his kicks have come off a 2" tee and he will have to kick off the ground in college. He has worked diligently since football season off the ground and says he is getting the ball airborn just as quick and as high. His kickoffs are generally 5 yards deep on a regular basis. He made the All Region, All State, and Super All State Teams as a senior. He benches 215, squats 265, and power cleans 200. He has a 3.1 GPA and made 20 on the ACT.
