"I have offers from Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Maryland, Georgia Tech, Central Florida and Southern Cal," said James Wilson. "Georgia Tech and Southern Cal have been recruiting me harder than anyone. They send me a lot of mail every week."
"I don't have any favorites right now. I am keeping all of my options open. I am going to take my visits and try to find the best place for me."
Wilson watched several of his former teammates sign letters of intent on National Signing Day. Several months remain before they leave for college, and they will try to recruit the big lineman for their respective school.
"It will definitely have a little bit of an effect on my decision," Wilson said. "I am going up to Wake Forest for their Junior Day with Hunter Haynes. Tim [Tebow] is at Florida and Charlie [Kirschman] is going to Alabama. It's always good to have someone at a school you are familiar with, but I know I have to make the right decision for myself."
The 6-4, 305-pound offensive lineman knows exactly what he is seeking for the basis of his college decision.
"Education is the most important factor for me," said Wilson. "I am trying to get the best education I can possibly get."
"I am very good at getting after people," Wilson said of his strengths. "I love going out and blocking guys on screen passes. I really love to knock people down on the ground."
When asked of his off-season work-outs Wilson replied, "I am continuing to work on my forty time. I am trying to get my body fat percent down. I am going to keep working hard on getting stronger and faster."
Wilson was All-County and Second Team All-State for his junior season.
