Two Sport Star

Quarterback Ross Wilson is a playmaker on the gridiron as well a superb talent in baseball. Wilson is hearing from several elite programs for both sports.

"I really haven't decided what I am going to do yet," said Ross Wilson from Hoover, (Ala.). "I have a lot of schools in the SEC and ACC recruiting me for both sports right now. I have not received any scholarship offers yet."

"Right now I would say my favorite schools are Alabama, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State and LSU."

Wilson was invited to Junior Day at Alabama and Miami, but will miss the visits due to baseball.

Wilson was forced to miss a couple of football games in the fall due to injury, but still managed to pass for 2,950 yards with 31 touchdowns in Hoover's high octane offense. He helped lead the Bucs to a fourth consecutive Class 6A state championship.

The 5-11, 180-pound athlete stars as a shortstop in the spring batting over .400 last season, four home runs and recorded 16 doubles.

Wilson will participate in the All-American Combine in Tuscaloosa April 29.
