"Scout.com Combine is the Best"

The Crimson Tide received a verbal commitment from Bradenton Academy's Jermaine McKenzie, and the receiver is talking other visits. The Alabama coaches, along with several other college coaches from across the country, saw McKenzie first-hand at the Scout.com All-American combine in Boca Raton, (Fla.).

"I know for sure I will visit Alabama, Florida State, Clemson and Auburn," said Jermaine McKenzie from Bradenton, (Fla.). "I feel like my commitment is solid right now. I am pretty sure I will stick with Alabama."

"I will take all my visits after September 1. I will only camp at Alabama this summer."

The Boca Raton combine gave the Scout.com team, as well as college coaches, an idea of how good McKenzie really is. He stood 6-2,165-pounds and ran a 4.53 40-yard-dash.

"I thought I did pretty good at the combine," he said. "I saw where I made the All-Combine Team. I was excited about that. There were a lot of great players out there. I was real impressed with Chris Rainey."

"Out of all the combines I've been to, the Scout.com combine was the best. I really like the competition. It was very high. I loved the one-on-one competition."

When asked of additional scholarship offers McKenzie replied, "I have not received any new offers but, I should be within the next few weeks. Florida, UCF and USF came by the school last week. Coach [Greg] Knox from Auburn is coming to the school tomorrow."
