Chicago Prospect Still Pursued by Bama

Darnell Ratcliff a 5-foot-11, 190-pound athlete from King High in Chicago, Illinois, is still looking for his first official offer, and summer camp auditions at a different position might speed up the process.

"Northern Illinois, Alabama, Michigan State, Purdue and Western Michigan are all showing me interest," Ratcliff began. "Northern Illinois and Alabama are probably recruiting me the hardest.

" "I went to camps at Alabama, Northern Illinois, Ball State, and Indiana State, and I think I performed well. This year most of the schools recruiting me are filled with running backs, so I made a huge shift and worked out as a corner."

"Alabama camp was really nice. I have some family down there, so it is kind of like a second home. I really like how organized the camp was. Everybody was nice and they were interested to show you how to be a better player."

Ratcliff was named All-Conference the past three seasons, and he recorded over 1,700 yards on with 20 touchdowns during his junior campaign. Ratcliff has rushed for 4,000 yards in his high school career.
