Where They Started

One thing's guaranteed: this will change. One day into a month of practice before the season opener is not the time to be setting lineups, but when the team hit the field Tuesday there had to be some type of order in place.

It will be most interesting to watch the depth chart on the offensive and defensive lines, where coaches are looking at different combinations of players who could move to different positions to create necessary depth. On Saturday, the first day in full pads, will be a better time for evaluation of the men in the trenches. And Monday's first scrimmage is sure to cause some movement. The receiver position is the toughest to gauge because of the multiple formations and positions a receiver can play, and the number of players mixing in at those spots.

The following is a guess (mostly two-deep) list based on how the players lined up on the first day.
