Alabama Baseball Scrimmage Dates

Fall practice started for the Alabama baseball team on Tuesday, and while there are no fall games against outside opponents, there will be several opportunities throughout the month of October for scrimmages.

The Alabama baseball team will also be recognized at halftime Saturday of the Mississippi State game on November 4th when they receive their Southeastern Conference championship rings at halftime.

Alabama Head Coach Jim Wells announced the scrimmage dates for the next three weeks of team drills.

The Crimson Tide has been conducting individual workouts since Labor Day and now the team has come together for a three-week period, which will consist of 11 intrasquad games, with the first one coming this afternoon at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.

"We will find our more about our team in the scrimmages," Alabama head coach Jim Wells said. "The game-type situations will give us a better idea than the individual drills. The scrimmages certainly tell you more about your team."

All practices begin at 2 p.m. (CST), are open to the public and admission is free.
