Schedule Change

The Southeastern Conference announced today a change to the 2007 University of Alabama football schedule that affects the Crimson Tide's contests against Louisiana State University and Mississippi State University, as agreed by all three member institutions and the SEC Office.

The Alabama game at Mississippi State, originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 3 at Starkville, Miss., will now take place on Saturday, Nov. 10. The game with LSU at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, originally slated for Saturday, Nov. 10, will now take place on Saturday, Nov. 3.

Alabama opens the season on Sept. 1 hosting Western Carolina.

Bama will be at Vanderbilt on Sept. 8, host Arkansas Sept. 15, and host Georgia Sept. 22.

On Sept. 29, Alabama goes to Jacksonville, Fla., to take on FSU.

Houston visits Tuscaloosa on Oct. 6, the Crimson Tide goes to Ole Miss on Oct. 13, Bama hosts Tennessee Oct. 20, and has an open date on Oct. 27.

The new schedule has Alabama hosting LSU Nov. 3, at Mississippi State on Nov. 10, hosting Louisiana Monroe Nov. 17, and finishing out regular season play at Auburn Nov. 24.
