"Alabama is where I want to be."

Pensacola defensive back Chris Lett took his official visit to Tuscaloosa this weekend. The Scout.com four star Alabama verbal commitment talked in detail about his trip.

"Man, when we first got there we went to this steak-house place. I can't remember the name of it, but they had some great big steaks. I could only eat about two bites of it. It was good food, really good eating. Maybe the best part of the trip," Lett jokingly said.

"It was great. I had a blast. I am still worn out from the whole visit. They ( Alabama ) have some great people. I think we are going to have a really good coaching staff. With that great coaching staff they are going to come out with a really great team. Getting to know the staff this weekend, I feel I got really close to them in just that short amount of time. That is a great thing between me and the coaching staff."

Lett talked about his personal time with Coach Saban as well.

"We talked about the things he expects out of the players. He wants us to come in and work hard in everything we do on the field and off the field. I told him I was that guy. I am a hard worker. Whatever it takes to get things done and be successful, I am going to do that. We just sat around and talked about that. He asked what type of person I am and everything. We just got together and bonded a little bit."

Chris Lett said the coaches had watched as he added, "He (Saban) said he loved my long arms and quickness. He thinks I will be a great corner. He said I had pretty good speed. He didn't get to watch too much film on me, but what he did he really liked."

"I also talked to my position coach (Kirby Smart). We went over the different coverages they have planned for next season. He (Smart) asked me what was my favorite coverage and what I enjoyed doing the most. Do I like to press or play off. We just kind of sat around and talked about that to see where I fit in."

"Chris Rogers was my player host. We hung out at the dorms with the whole team. I got a chance to meet a lot of the team. We went to a couple of parties. It was all right. Most of the recruits that were there and committed to other places were like-"Man, I might change my mind. I kind of like Alabama and everything." I was like yeah, I haven't even seen this much of Alabama and I have been there a couple of times. The ones that were already committed to Alabama were like I am sticking with my commitment, and the ones that were committed to other places were thinking of switching."

"I am done. No more trips for me. Alabama is where I want to be," Lett proclaimed.
