U.S. Army All-American Talks 'Bama Visit

Scout.com five-star defensive end/linebacker Allen Bailey, from Darien-McIntosh Academy (Ga.), was one of the headliners at the University of Alabama for an official visit. Bailey is fresh off his visit to Tuscaloosa, and he talks about his trip.

"The visit was all right," said a soft spoken Allen Bailey. "Tuscaloosa was a quiet place during the weekend, but we still found stuff to do."

"The best part of my trip was just the chill time. I have been busy, and I have two more back-to-back trips coming up. It was nice just to chill."

Bailey has listed Alabama as one of his favorites since the beginning of his recruitment. The five-star defender was eager to learn more about the new coaching staff in Tuscaloosa.

"I thought Nick Saban was pretty good," he said. "We talked a lot. We talked about the linebackers he has coached in the NFL. He still wants me as a linebacker. I thought he was a good guy."

"I met the rest of the coaching staff as well. I talked with the coaches he brought with him. They were pretty good."

The U.S. Army All-American spent time with a another U.S. Army All-American as well.

"My official visit host was Andre Smith," Bailey said. "The time with him was good. He was a funny guy. It was a lot of fun."

When asked his feelings of Alabama Bailey responded, "It's still the same. I like them. My visit went pretty good. On a scale from one-to-ten, I would rank my visit a seven or eight."

Bailey will travel to Miami this weekend and will take his final visit to Georgia the following weekend.

"I will visit those two schools and then try to make my decision. I plan on making my decision on signing day," Bailey said.
