Will Morgan Burnett Visit Alabama?

The University of Alabama coaching staff continues to travel the Southeastern states looking for talent. They found Scout.com four-star safety Morgan Burnett at North Clayton High School in College Park, (Ga.) this week. Burnett committed to Georgia Tech last week, and he updates his recruiting status.

"Coach Kirby Smart (Alabama) came to see me Wednesday," Morgan Burnett said. "I'm just weighing my options out right now, but I'm still committed to Georgia Tech."

When asked if he planned to visit Tuscaloosa Burnett replied, "Yes, I will probably give them a visit. Maybe the 26th or something like that."

We asked the 6-2, 190-pound safety if he was surprised to hear from Alabama since he was already committed to Georgia Tech.

"It wasn't really much of a surprise when he called," Burnett said. "They have been talking to me there. Alabama had already offered me before, but they are telling me now they want me and everything."
