Alabama Offers Georgia Wide Receiver

Wide receiver Darius Hanks, from Norcross, (Ga.), didn't know what to expect when he arrived on his official visit to Alabama. The two-star prospect received big news during his visit and is close to making his college decision.

"My visit to Alabama went pretty good," said Darius Hanks from Norcross, (Ga.). "Alabama offered me a scholarship. They told me to get back to them in the next week if I wanted to commit."

"It's a huge offer for me. Alabama is a great school. They have a lot of tradition, and I like the atmosphere there."

"I liked my visit. I met a lot of guys on the team. I talked to coach [Nick] Saban and coach [Burton} Burns a lot. Coach Burns made me feel like I was at home."

"Earl Alexander was my host. I liked hanging out with him. He is a very popular guy on campus. He got a lot of attention. He showed me around campus. He made me feel welcomed."

"It's was nice. It's better than a lot of other schools I have seen. They have an academic center and a pool. Their weight room is huge. They have a lot of stuff that I like."

"Alabama is my favorite school. I think I will make a decision within the next week. I am really not sure if I will visit Georgia at this time."
