Demario Ambrose Returns from Official

Demario Ambrose, from Mobile-Davidson, (Ala.), made the four hour trip to Tuscaloosa this weekend to visit Alabama and new Tide Coach Nick Saban. The Scout.com two-star defensive end talked about his visit.

"It was great," Demario Ambrose said. "I got to know all the players. I talked with the coaches, and they seemed real cool. My mom got to come up on the trip with me also."

"Keith Saunders was my player host. The favorite part of my trip was playing the PS3 (Playstation3). I played Madden 2007 and NCAA 2007. Elliot McGaskin was playing the last game, and I took over for him and scored the winning touchdown. I was playing with Alabama."

"We also toured the weight room, the football facilities and the campus. The dorms were brand new. They were all great."

Ambrose has visited Purdue, Arkansas and South Carolina so far this season.

"This visit was right up there with the best of them," Ambrose said. "It was pretty good."

Arkansas, Purdue and South Carolina have all offered the talented player. Did Alabama pull the trigger this weekend?

"No sir, they didn't offer. They told me they would let me know something tomorrow," Ambrose said.

"If they offer it will be pretty close," Ambrose added.
