Jeramie Griffin Rolls with the Tide four-star Jeramie Griffin, from Batesville-South Panola, (Miss.), was high on the Crimson Tide following his official visit to Tuscaloosa. Griffin informed the Alabama coaching staff Sunday evening he was ready to make his decision. Tuesday Griffin finalized his decision.

"I made my decision last night," said Jeramie Griffin from Batesville, (Miss.). "I talked to coach [Ron] Middleton on the phone and told him I was ready to commit. He was excited. I finalized my decision today."

"I knew Alabama was where I wanted to go. I just wanted to wait a little while after my visit before I made my decision."

Griffin gave several reasons why he decided to commit to the UNiversity of Alabama.

"I really like the players, coaches and the campus at Alabama. I really like everything about it but especially the campus," he said.

Griffin was named First Team All-State after rushing for 1,288 yards and 19 touchdowns during his senior season
