Brandon Gibson to Alabama

Scout.com four-star receiver Brandon Gibson, from Mobile-UMS-Wright, (Ala.), held out until National Signing Day to announce his college decision. Alabama lead throughout the recruiting process, and he went with his favorite.

"Coach Saban seems like he already has a lot of respect," Brandon Gibson said following his official visit in January. "He carries himself like he is really humble. He is a nice guy. I think he is going to have great success."

Gibson, 6-2, 190-pounds earned Class 5A First Team All-State as a senior. He recorded 50 receptions for 785 yards and eight touchdowns. He returned 14 punts for 226 yards and one touchdown and returned 21 kick-offs for 544 yards.

He played a limited amount of time on defense, but still managed to record 24 tackles, three interceptions and a blocked kick.

Gibson is on track to qualify.
