Cooper Taylor Returns from Tide's Junior Day

Scout.com caught up with Cooper Taylor Sunday afternoon after his visit this weekend to Junior Day at The University of Alabama.

Cooper Taylor is a tall rangy safety from Marist High School in Atlanta, (Ga.), and a lot of schools are showing interest going into his senior season. Cooper has been to Junior Day at Notre Dame, Georgia Tech and the most recent, Alabama.

"I liked it a lot," Cooper Taylor said. "I liked the facilities. They were great."

"I talked to coach Saban and Coach Kirby Smart a lot. They are talking to me about playing safety."

"I was impressed the most by the training room. It was huge, and it had a lot of stuff in it."

Scout.com asked Taylor if he had any favorites at this time and how his former teammate (Jennings Hester, 2007 Tide signee) would play into his decision.

"Jennings has been talking to me about coming to Alabama, but I really don't have any favorites right now. I'm just trying to narrow my list down to the schools I'm most interested in right now," Taylor said.

When asked a time frame for a decision Cooper stated, "I'll probably make my decision before my senior season."

Stay with Scout.com as we continue to track the recruitment of Cooper Taylor.
