No Tuesday Baseball

Due to a scheduling conflict, the University of Alabama baseball team will play only one midweek game this week.

Alabama and Mississippi Valley State will play Wednesday, March 21 at 6:30 p.m. (CDT) at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The Crimson Tide and Delta Devils were scheduled to meet on Tuesday, March 20 at 6:30 p.m. (CDT), but that game will be rescheduled. The makeup date will be announced later this week.

Wednesday's game was originally set for 3 p.m., but that game has been moved back to 6:30 p.m. (CDT) start time. Ticket No. 23 will be good for admission to Wednesday's game. All tickets for the Wednesday game are one dollar. Ticket No. 22 will be good for admission to the makeup game later this season.

Junior left-hander Brian Griggs (2 G, 0-0, 0.00 ERA) is expected to make his first start of the season on the mound Wednesday against MVSU. Alabama (15-8, 2-1 SEC) is coming off an SEC series win over Tennessee this past weekend in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide will travel to Ole Miss next weekend (March 23-25) for a three-game series in Oxford.
