Photo report: Stat leaders vs. North Texas

Alabama led in first downs, rushing yards, passing yards, total yards and time of possession. <br><br>But the Mean Green took advantage of its edge in turnovers to keep the game respectable.

Cornelius Wortham on the sideline on game day. The starting strongside linebacker was Bama's leading tackler versus North Texas with nine to his credit, six solo and three assisted.


Bama's leading scorer and second-leading rusher walk off the field, following Saturday's game. Michael Ziifle (#40) scored nine points on three field goals and three extra points. Ray Hudson (#27) finished with 82 yards on seven carries.


Alonzo Ephraim looks to block in last year's game versus UCLA. Bama's All-SEC center led all athletes in snaps Saturday, participating in 70 plays on offense and six on special teams.


Reserve rover Mark Anderson takes a break during practice. Getting the most playing time of his still-young career Saturday, Anderson had two quarterback sacks for a loss of 15 yards to go along with his three total tackles.


Tight end Donald Clarke reaches high for the pass in practice. In a breakout game for him, Clarke hauled in three passes for a whopping 80 yards Saturday, including a long of 43 yards.


Going 12-of-15 for 161 yards, Tyler Watts was Bama's leading passer. His longest completion went for 43 yards to Donald Clarke. Watts also contributed 64 yards on the ground to lead Alabama in total yards with 225.
