Seminoles Make Move

SEATTLE - Fresh off a 41-11 pasting of Houston, the Texas Longhorns leaped over Oklahoma and into the No. 2 slot of TheInsiders.com Top 25 College Football Poll.

The Longhorns (3-0) now trail only the Miami Hurricanes (4-0), who were the unanimous No. 1 pick following a 38-6 victory over Boston College. Oklahoma (3-0) fell a spot to No. 3 despite a 68-0 rout of UTEP.

Meanwhile, the Florida State Seminoles (3-0) took advantage of Tennessee's fall and moved into No. 4. Florida (3-1), which dispatched the previously No. 4 ranked Vols, only moved up to No. 9 from No. 11 the previous week.

Among the fastest risers, Kansas State (4-0) jumped all the way to No. 13 from 22nd after a 27-20 win over Southern Cal.
