Visitors Bound for Tuscaloosa
Julio Jones, the nation's top receiver from Foley, (Ala.), had originally scheduled to visit Florida State this weekend. Early Friday morning plans have changed, and he will trip to Tuscaloosa instead. Teammate and Alabama commitment Robert Lester will visit as well.
Another elite prospect who will visit Tuscaloosa is T.J. Bryant, Scout.com five-star cornerback from Tallahassee-Lincoln, (Fla.). Bryant has the Tide among his top six schools and is considering an official visit after the season. Bryant's teammate, B.J. Daniels, will visit as well.
There is a big game in Baton Rouge Saturday night, but Tyler Edwards, four-star tight end from Monroe-Ouachita Parish, (La.), will take an unofficial visit to Alabama. Edwards is expected to decide between the Tide and LSU Tigers.
Barrett Jones, four-star offensive tackle from Cordova-Evangelical Christian, (Tenn.), will finally take a season visit to Tuscaloosa. The Tide is considered the team to beat for his signature.
Antoine McClain, four-star offensive tackle from Anniston, (Ala.), has confirmed his visit to Tuscaloosa as well as Chris Martin, three-star defensive tackle from Fort Walton Beach-Choctawhatchee, (Fla.).
The Tide will host FSU commitment Terrance Parks, three-star cornerback from Fairburn-Creekside, (Ga.).
Alabama commitments who have confirmed their visit this weekend include: Burton Scott (Vigor), Ivan Matchett (Mobile-St. Paul's), Mark Barron (Mobile-St. Paul's), Brandon Lewis (Pleasant Grove), Brad Smelley (Tuscaloosa-American Christian), Undra Billingsley(Birmingham-Woodlawn), Wesley Neighbors (Huntsville), John Michael Boswell (Northport-Tuscaloosa County, Tyler Love (Mountain Brook) and Michael Williams (Reform-Pickens County).
Two out-of-state commitments plan to visit as well--Melvin Ray (Tallahassee-North Florida Christian, Fla.), and Devonta Bolton (Norcross, Ga.).

Several other in-state prospects who plan to visit include T.J. Barnes, three-star lineman (Enterprise), Marcel Dareus, three-star lineman (Huffman), Dekendrick Moncrief, three-star wide receiver (Prattville), Justin Albert, running back (Prattville) and Johnny Williams, wide receiver (Leroy).
Top juniors expected in Tuscaloosa include A.J. McCarron, quarterback (Mobile-St. Paul's), Tana Patrick, linebacker (Stevenson-North Jackson), Mardrecas Hood, wide receiver (Reform-Pickens County), Jamal Patterson, wide receiver (McDonough-Henry County, Ga.) and Anthony Orr, defensive end (Harvest-Sparkman).
