Head coach Steve Campbell talks about Cody's commitment.
"I actually didn't know he had officially committed to Alabama," said Mississippi Gulf Coast head coach Steve Campbell. "I asked him the other day and he told me Alabama was where he wanted to go."
"I just asked him about it, and he said that's where he was going. I did not know he had spoken to any of the Alabama coaches at that time. I thought he was going to wait until his official visit."
Cody is a mammoth defensive tackle who stands 6-foot-5, 385-pounds. He is a huge presence and is a tough match up for offensive lineman.
"Terrence is a great player and kid," Campbell said. "He is a dominating defensive lineman. He constantly demands double teams on run and pass blocking. He is a big physical presence on the inside."
Coach Campbell confirmed Cody will not graduate until May and will take his official visit to Alabama December 7.
