Terrance Cody Back from Official Visit

Terrance Cody, Scout.com four-star defensive tackle from Perkinston-Mississippi Gulf Coast, (Miss.), was the last prospect to commit to the Tide prior to this weekend. Cody was in Tuscaloosa as he shares about the official visit.

"My official visit went good," said Terrance Cody. "I had a lot of fun. We got to do a lot of stuff. We toured the campus and things like that."

"The thing that stood out to me the most was the coaches. They were really nice. They know what they are doing, and they are willing to help everyone."

"I got there on Friday night. They took us to eat at Chuck's Fish. That night our host took us out. My host was Brian Motley. It was cool to hang out with him. He is a cool guy."

"The next day we visited around the campus. They showed us the training room, and they had an academic presentation for us. We went to The Zone that night for dinner. We then went out with our hosts again."

"Today we had breakfast at coach [Nick] Saban's house. We rode four-wheelers, Gators and played pool. It was a lot of fun. Coach Saban has a nice house. It was crazy. It was a big place."

"My position coach [Bo Davis] told us what we were going to do when we come up there. He said he is all about technique. He said we are going to learn a lot."

"Coach Saban was telling me that I was what he had been looking for. He said I had great potential, and I have a lot of talent. He said he thinks I can play at the next level."

When asked about spending time with other recruits visiting Cody replied, "The other guys were real cool. They had guys down there from everywhere."

Cody will graduate from Mississippi Gulf Coast in May.
