ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE (5-2, 2-1 SEC)
Dennis Franchione notched his 150th career win in the Tide's 42-7 victory against Ole Miss ... TB Santonio Beard rushed for 138 yards on 13 carries and a school-record-tying 5 TDs ... Beard scored the first two times he touched the pigskin against the Rebels ... The Alabama defense held Ole Miss to just four rushing yards in the game (28 attempts) ... It's the second-lowest total for a Tide opponent this season (-23 by Oklahoma) ... P Lane Bearden returned to the Tide lineup after a one-game absence ... Punting with a torn ACL, Bearden averaged 40.0 yards per punt on five attempts.

ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS (3-3, 1-3 SEC)
FB Brandon Holmes saw his first time of the season at defensive end for the Razorbacks against Kentucky ... He is the second offensive player to switch sides of the ball this season ... TE Jason Peters has also seen time on the defensive line ... RB Fred Talley had 182 yards on 24 carries against Kentucky, giving him nine 100+ rushing yardage games in his career, which ties for third-most in school history ... Talley is also now 8th in Razorback history for career rushing yards with 2,088 ... In his last two games, Talley has rushed for 423 yards on 45 carries.

AUBURN TIGERS (4-3, 2-2 SEC)
RB Carnell Williams suffered a broken left leg against Florida and will miss the remainder of the season ... RB Ronnie Brown replaced Williams and rushed for 125 yards and two TDs, both career highs ... Brown also had a 54-yard TD reception, which was the longest of his career ... Auburn has a streak of 18 consecutive games with a rushing TD ... The Tigers have 19 rushing TDs this season ... Daniel Cobb completed 4-of-12 for 91 yards as the starting QB and was replaced by Jason Campbell in the second half ... Campbell completed 5-of-7 for 95 yards and a touchdown.

FLORIDA GATORS (5-3, 3-2 SEC)
The Gators won their first-ever overtime game in three tries when UF defeated Auburn, 30-23 ... Due to injury, DB Todd Johnson did not start for the first time in 32 consecutive games ... Florida's 14-play drive on its opening possession was the Gators' longest of the year ... With 242 passing yards against Auburn, QB Rex Grossman moves to fourth all-time in career passing yards at Florida with 7,801 yards ... He is also fifth in career completions at Florida with 555 ... RB Earnest Graham's 2,617 career rushing yards is fifth in school history.

GEORGIA BULLDOGS (7-0, 4-0 SEC)
Georgia is 7-0 for the first time since 1982 when the Bulldogs went undefeated during the regular season, finishing 11-1 after falling to Penn State in the Sugar Bowl ... It is the eighth time in school history that Georgia has started a season 7-0 ... Georgia scored on its first eight possessions against Vanderbilt (6 TDs, 2 FGs) before punting for the first and only time in the fourth quarter ... The last time Georgia punted just once in a game was in 1997 against Arkansas State ... Georgia had 606 total offensive yards against Vandy, which ranks as the 7th most in school history and the most since 667 yards vs. Southern Miss in 1993.

KENTUCKY WILDCATS (5-2, 1-2 SEC)
Derek Abney's career-long 86-yard punt return for a TD was his second scoring punt return this season ... The return is the fifth longest in UK history ... Kentucky has scored first in five of six games this season ... The Cats have outscored their opponents, 58-16, in the first quarter ... QB Jared Lorenzen is second in UK history in career total offensive yards (7,610) and career passing yards (7,387) ... Abney has moved into fifth place in UK career receiving yards with 1,486 (129 catches, which is tied for third) ... RB Artose Pinner rushed for 67 yards on 26 carries and a TD against Arkansas.

LSU TIGERS (6-1, 3-0 SEC)
For the second straight season, LSU has put together six-game win streaks ... LSU won its seventh straight SEC game (including 2001 SEC Championship Game), the longest streak since winning nine straight from 1969-71 ... The Tigers moved to 3-0 in SEC play for the first time since 1987 ... PK John Corbello kicked a career-long 48-yard field goal vs. the Gamecocks ... Michael Clayton has caught at least one pass in 20 straight games ... Domanick Davis has moved into first place in career kickoff return yards at LSU with 1,836 yards ... With 201 all-purpose yards vs. USC, Davis has gone over 200 yards in three games this season.

OLE MISS REBELS (5-2, 2-1 SEC)
RB Robert Williams returned to the Rebel lineup after missing the last two games with a high ankle sprain ... In a starting role, Williams had 23 yards rushing, including a 2-yard TD run against Alabama ... QB Eli Manning has moved into fourth place on the Ole Miss career completion list with 414, surpassing his father, Archie, who had 402 career completions ... Manning also passed his father for fifth place in career passing yards at Ole Miss with 4,907 ... PK Jonathan Nichols has a streak of 35 consecutive made PATs ... He scored his 100th point against Alabama, becoming the ninth kicker in school history to achieve that feat.

MISSISSIPPI STATE BULLDOGS (3-4, 0-3 SEC)
The Bulldogs intercepted five Memphis passes and returned two for touchdowns in overcoming a fourth-quarter deficit to defeat the Tigers, 29-17 ... QB Kyle York started and played the entire game for Kevin Fant, who is suffering from an ankle and Achilles injury ... York completed 19-of-29 passes for 149 yards againt Memphis ... Jason Clark's 20-yard interception return in the first quarter put the Bulldogs ahead, 10-7 ... Michael Gholar's 28-yard interception return in the fourth quarter made the final margin, 29-17 ... PK Brent Smith was 3-of-4 in field goals including ones made from 28,42,24 yards.

SOUTH CAROLINA GAMECOCKS (5-3, 3-2 SEC)
South Carolina enters its first open week of the season, after falling at LSU, 38-14 ... Carolina is 3-1 when passing for more yards than its opponents ... During its four-game win streak before the LSU game, the Gamecocks had a +6 in turnover margin (5 lost, 11 gained) ... Against LSU, USC lost two interceptions and did not force any turnovers ... RB Andrew Pinnock had a 9-yard TD run against the Tigers, bringing his career total to 26 TDs scored ... Corey Jenkins' 60-yard TD pass to Troy Williamson was the longest of the season for Carolina and Williamson's third TD catch of the season.

TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS (4-2, 1-2 SEC)
True frosh James Banks played most of the game at QB for the Vols, subbing for injured Casey Clausen (shoulder) ... Banks connected on 10-of-15 passes for 168 yards and a TD and rushed 14 times for 35 yards ... RB Derrick Tinsley caught Banks' pass for a 33-yard TD and also threw a 5-yard TD pass to TE Jason Witten ... The Vol defense limited Georgia to 62 yards rushing on 32 carries ... The Vols have had three of its FG attempts blocked this season ... UT's last road loss was a 21-10 decision at Georgia in 2000, the last game Clausen did not start.

VANDERBILT COMMODORES (1-6, 0-4 SEC)
Dan Stricker went over the 100-yard mark in receiving for the 11th time in his career, a school record ... It was Stricker's second 100-yard receiving game this season. He caught 5 passes for 109 yards against Georgia ... Kwane Doster came up with the longest gain of his career on the opening series vs. Georgia ... He rambled 31 yards down the sideline on the option ... He finished with a career-high 118 yards on 15 carries ... Three players got their first career starts for Vandy against Georgia - Robert Dinwiddie replaced Jovan Haye at defensive end, Herdley Harrison started at linebacker in place of Eric Byrum and Keith Williams started at wide receiver.
