The Final Countdown

When the '80s rock band Europe wrote the song, "The Final Countdown", they never would have linked the hit song to football recruiting. One day remains until National Signing Day as the University of Alabama sits in the No.1 spot for the class of 2008. The Tide has a chance to close even stronger with several top recruits left on the board.

Julio Jones, the nation's top receiver from Foley, (Ala.), took an unofficial visit Saturday to Alabama. Jones was originally scheduled to officially visit Texas Tech. He has trimmed his list to Alabama, Florida, Florida State and Oklahoma. Will Jones shock the recruiting world and head to Norman or will Jones roll with the Tide? Recruiting Analyst Andrew Bone Prediction: Alabama
Runner Up: Oklahoma

Jerrell Harris
Jerrell Harris, four-star linebacker from Gadsden, (Ala.) City, has been tough to read this recruiting season. Auburn has been the team to beat since the beginning of his recruitment, but Alabama and Clemson have made a strong impression. It's a tough prediction, but with Alabama boasting the top class in the country the momentum is certainly on their side. Recruiting Analyst Andrew Bone Prediction: Alabama
Runner Up: Clemson

Marcel Dareus
Marcel Dareus, four-star defensive tackle from Birmingham-Huffman, (Ala.), has been the fastest riser in the country. A key factor with Dareus has been the recruitment of his brother, Demerius, who is likely headed to junior college. The Dareus brothers will sign with the same school on NSD. Recruiting Analyst Andrew Bone Prediction: Alabama
Runner Up: Auburn

T.J. Bryant
T.J. Bryant, four-star cornerback from Tallahassee-Lincoln, (Fla.), has kept his recruitment very low-key, and his announcement will shock any school still in the running for his signature. Recruiting Analyst Andrew Bone Prediciton: Alabama
Runner Up: Florida State

Robert Quinn
Robert Quinn, four-star defensive end from North Charleston-Fort Dorchester, (S.C.), had a miracle year and expects to announce his college decision Wednesday. Auburn and Alabama have been consistent with their recruitment, but the distance factor will likely play a part in Quinn's decision. Recruiting Analyst Andrew Bone Prediction: North Carolina
Runner Up: Alabama

Antoine McClain
Antoine McClain, four-star offensive tackle from Anniston, (Ala.), is having a hard time battling rumors with the in-state schools. Look for him to leave the state when he announces at 10 a.m. on National Signing Day. Recruiting Analyst Andrew Bone Prediction: Tennessee
Runner Up: Clemson

Mark Ingram
Mark Ingram, three-star running back from Flint-Southwestern Academy, (Mich.), emerged on Alabama's recruiting board following his senior season. Michigan State was the heavy favorite, but the Tide has made a remarkable effort with his recruitiment in the closing weeks before National Signing Day. Ingram will announce Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 (CST). Recruiting Analyst Andrew Bone Prediction: Alabama
Runner Up: Michigan State
