Coach Keith Maloof: "It's been great for us. He's been a two-way player at strong safety and wide receiver for three years. He's just an imposing figure. He does a lot of great things on both sides of the ball. Whatever Alabama chooses for him to do I really believe he will be an asset to the program."
"I can see them using him on either side. It all depends on what they want to use him for if they are going to use him for an inside slot guy, use him as a h-back on offense or even grow into a tight end. I don't know what their plans are, but on the flipside he can turn around play outside linebacker, strong safety for them on defense."
"There is a lot of things he can do, so that's why it's such a good commitment for Alabama to be getting him because he can do different things."
"Always has a smile on his face. He's always in the weight room. He's the hardest worker. He's going to go in there and do what he can to do better and to do more. He's always been that way. I've known him for a long time, and he's just an extraordinary kid."
"I think Coach Saban [why Alabama for Bolton]. He really liked coach Saban when he came in here and talked to him. They were real honest with him, and I think it was a good relationship from the start."
Bio: Bolton played both offense and defense during his senior season and was a big contributor on both sides of the ball. He hauled in 25 catches for 451 yards and five touchdowns on offense. One of the interceptions returned for a touchdown.
Analysis: Bolton is a big, powerful, and physical wide receiver who shows good hands. Bolton is the type of receiver who can help a team move the chains with the tough catch. He is at his best running crossing routes and not afraid to go over the middle. Bolton is dangerous after the catch as well, running with great power. He runs nice routes and is a gifted, physical receiver.
"He's just an extraordinary kid."
