Caldwell Selected For SEC Line Honor
Antoine Caldwell, a three-year starter and two-year captain, was cited for directing an Alabama offensive line that helped account for 412 yards of offense against Auburn. That total included 234 rushing yards.
Caldwell, a 6-3, 305-pound senior from Montgomery, did not allow a sack or a quarterback pressure and was not called for a penalty.
Alabama averaged 6.1 yards per play and totaled 21 first downs with a time of possession of 35:37.
Also receiving mention was Alabama senior safety Rashad Johnson, who was in on five tackles (three solo), deflected a pass, and recovered a fumble in the rout of Auburn.
