SEC Bowl notes: LSU vs. Texas

The LSU Bengal Tigers (8-4, 5-3) will represent the SEC in the Cotton Bowl versus the Texas Longhorns (10-2, 6-2) of the Big 12. The traditional January 1st bowl game will be hosted in Dallas' Cotton Bowl (68,252) with kickoff scheduled for 10 am (CST). FOX will televise the contest.
