"He's all set and ready to go."

Greg Dentino just arrived at South Dade High School in Homestead, Fla. in January, and leads his team into their spring game against nearby Homestead Senior High School on May 29th at Harris Field. Last season the school had UCF signee Dontravious Floyd, a wide receiver, and University of Alabama signee, Ed Stinson, a defensive end. Coach Dentino says he talks to Stinson regularly.

"He's [Ed Stinson] around, very visible. I talk to him in the weight room," says Dentino. "All roads look clear for Stinson to be in Tuscaloosa by early June. He's all set and ready to go. He passed the test and is just waiting on graduation."

Joel Furnari, the AD at South Dade, says things will happen quickly for Stinson in the next few weeks.

"Ed's going to graduate on June 3rd and be in Tuscaloosa on June 4th," said Furnari. He also confirmed Stinson is set on the academic front. "He's good to go," says the athletic director.

Size shouldn't be an issue for Stinson to step on the field and compete right away at the next level. Furnari says he leaves South Dade standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 242 lbs.
