Eddie Lacy makes the grade

Eddie Lacy, Tide signee and four-star running back from Geismar-Dutchtown, La., has been taking summer classes in order to arrive in Tuscaloosa before fall camp. Lacy talked with Scout.com about the good news received today from two tests.

"I made two As in my summer classes," Eddie Lacy told Scout.com. "I was needing to make an A in my Algebra ll class. I passed the class and made an A on my final. I was told if I made As in both my classes I would be good to go."

"I spoke to the Alabama coaches today and told them about my grades. I am sending my transcripts to Alabama and the NCAA today. I should know something within a week and know when I will arrive in Tuscaloosa."

"I am really excited about my grades. I am looking forward to getting to Alabama and thankful for all the prayers."

"Tell Alabama fans I am not going to disappoint them when I get on campus. Roll Tide!"
