Tide sees another transfer
Charlie Higgenbotham, junior linebacker who played behind Rolando McClain for the 2008 season, will transfer to South Alabama. Higgenbotham will join his former high school from coach from Mountain Brook, Joey Jones, who is now the head coach of the Jags.
Higgenbotham played in all 14 games in 2008 and was credited with four tackles and one sack. He was awarded the 'Commitment to Academic Excellence Award.'
Higgenbotham had 16 career tackles and saw action in 24 games.
