Why Alabama: "I have always wanted to play in the SEC. Alabama recruited me for a long time. Coach Saban told me I could come in and play on the opposite side of Julio Jones. They don't want me to play in the slot. They want me on the outside. I think Alabama is a great school and feel like I can contribute early."
Strengths/Improvement: "I would really like to improve my strength. I am great at catching the ball and running routes. I am a team player. I would like to get my weight up to about 185-pounds. I want to continue to get bigger and stronger. I would like to have the opportunity to contribute early."
Coach Quotes (Head Coach Nathan Cole): "He's been mentally stronger and more focused as a senior. He's a team player and has done a good job being a leader on this team. Everybody knows how fast he is. What I like to see is the way he uses his hands to catch the ball and not his body. He's brought in some tough catches this year. He also runs very good routes.
"He's also a very good baseball player. I think he's going to ask ‘Bama if he can play. He's not cocky at all, not the least bit. Keiwone's a very family-oriented person, also very humble. He loves having fun. If you talk to him you'd never know this was someone with a lot of recognition because he's very down-to-earth."
Andrew Bone says: "Malone has excellent hands and great separation speed. He can become a vertical threat for the Tide, but also make plays in space. He has great quickness and elusiveness."
