Why Alabama: "My brother [Tyler Love] is down at Alabama. I have a lot of friends who go to school there. I have always wanted to go there. I am happy to be a part of it now. I love the tradition down there. I love the coaching staff. I want to have a chance to compete for a national championship. At Alabama that is going to happen."

Strengths/Improvement: "I am really trying to work on my quickness. I have a good first step, but I just want to continue to work on it. I want to get stronger. I want to focus on making good grades as well. People say I am one of the toughest guys, and toughness will get me far. My quickness off the ball is real good. My defensive line coach says I am the quickest guy he has ever coached."

Coach Quotes (Head Coach Chris Yeager): "The biggest thing that's impressed me about Wilson is the darn faith he's had in developing his talent. He's got a ton of potential, and he's an extremely hard worker, but also factor in accountability. Wilson challenges his teammates around him to develop to their full potential as well, and that's real leadership.

"There's a big upside to Wilson athletically, but he's been working on the intangibles of his game ever since he was a sophomore. We use him inside on the line in run situations, and on the edge in passing situations to try and get him 1-1 against the tackle.

"He's tenacious and has a mean-streak in him, but I mean that in a good way. When he was a sophomore he used to get into fights with Tyler out there, and he'd win about half of those battles.

"I've had players who commit to schools early, like Wilson did, and then they tend to lose motivation. It seems like it was the best thing for him, like a huge burden was lifted and ever since his commitment he's been all about Mountain Brook football. That speaks a lot about his maturity level. Wilson's probably changed more and matured more than any player I've had. He's been all-business in focusing on becoming the best player he can be."

Andrew Bone says: "Love is the younger brother of Alabama offensve tackle Tyler Love. Wilson is a jumbo athlete who has excelled on the defensive line, but could end up on offense on the next level. He is strong and quick off the line. He has good footwork and a smart player overall."
