Bama Softball Rallies To Win
"I was really proud of the way we came back," Alabama Coach Patrick Murphy said. "We were able to take advantage of the opportunities that were presented to us. Overall I thought it was a good night."
Alabama answered the call in the bottom of the sixth inning, putting the game away with four runs. Jazlyn Lunceford doubled to center on an 0-2 count and Catherine Dozier followed with a single up the middle scoring Lunceford. Larsen blasted a 250 foot home run over the center field wall, putting Alabama up 5-3.
The Tide didn't stop at three runs, tacking on one more. Cassandra Reilly-Boccia reached after being hit by a pitch and Kayla Braud entered to pinch run for Reilly-Boccia. After Braud stole second, Charlotte Morgan knocked her in with a double up the middle.
