Stats From Second Alabama Scrimmage

In Alabama's first scrimmage a week ago, the emphasis was on the passing game and the offense put up huge numbers against the defense. Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium in the second and final scrimmage of Fall camp, there was much more run offense.

Bama quarterback Greg McElroy was 10-18 for 134 yards and one touchdown with two interceptions. Alabama Coach Nick Saban pointed out that one interception was on a tipped ball and one was on "final play of the game" situation.

Alabama will now have Sunday and Monday off before resuming drills Tuesday. Bama is two weeks away from the season opening game when the Crimson Tide hosts San Jose State on Sept. 4.
