"I liked the game and how the defensive line just got after it. They were very aggressive out there and that is how I like to play. I visited UCLA when they played Arizona State so I'm real familiar with this defense. So I kind of knew what to expect when I visited there (at ASU)."
The 6-1 290-pound Trey Lealaimatafao was especially impressed by the play of Will Sutton and that is exactly the role the Sun Devil staff envisions for him if he decided to make Arizona State the school of his choice.
"They said I could play the same position as Will Sutton," Lealaimatafao stated. "We have the same height and weight and the same skills and we play the same type of game. I was talking on the visit to James Johnson and Jaxon Hood and they were telling me that it's a grind here and that it won't be easy but that they have great coaches who will make you better."
Lealaimatafao committed to Texas back in March and said that the recent visits he is taking are not necessarily an indication that his decommitment is imminent.
"When I went on my trips it wasn't for fun," Lealaimatafao explained. "These were business trips because I have to make a business decision. I want to make sure that I make the right decision.
"I still see myself as a Texas commit and I'm going to visit there on the 13th. After that visit I'm going to decide what to do because I don't I'm going to visit anymore schools. I still like Texas the most and then UCLA and ASU are even. I don't know when I will make my decision. It could be on signing day. If I'm going to an out of state school I want the coaches there to look after me like my parents would. I'm also looking for a family like environment, good game atmosphere and a winning program."
