Video: Foster embracing WR role

Senior D.J. Foster discussed how the transition to wide receiver is going following his second camp practice at the position for Arizona State Thursday morning in Tempe.

The transition from running back to wide receiver has included losing 15 pounds to streamline his physique and Arizona State senior D.J. Foster said he feels the difference with his top end speed.

Foster explained how reading defenses is different when working at wide receiver versus running back, and some of the other adjustments related to the position in a post-practice visit with media Thursday.

Additionally, Foster discussed the wide receiver group as a whole after the loss of Jaelen Strong to the NFL and leading returning receiver Cameron Smith to injury for the season.
