The included video is a look at the newly completed Phase 1 of Sun Devil Stadium. There will be two subsequent phases of renovation of the venue by Arizona State in the $256 million project, following the 2015 and 2016 seasons, with final completion scheduled for August of 2017.

The first phase was limited to completing the South end zone lower bowl, which is will be for students in half of the so-called "Double Inferno." Students will be in the south and north end zones.

Capacity of the stadium for the 2015 season is 64,248 and will be further reduced when sections of the northwest upper deck are removed following the completion of the home schedule. The project's final capacity is expected to be under 60,000.

ASU announced Tuesday that it is more than halfway toward its fundraising goal of $85 million, with $45.3 million received or otherwise committed.

Ray Anderson, ASU's Vice President for Athletics said he'd like to have its fundraising initiative completed by the end of 2016.

"The fact we're halfway through in only a year is a tribute to our sales people, donors and development," Anderson said. "It's indicative of a new belief in and around this Valley that this is real and not a false start. We're not a giant that wants to continue to sleep. We're up and active and going to get it done."
